Sourdough Malt Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 200 g sourdough discard
  • 200 g all purpose flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 60 g malted milk
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 t vanilla

Method

  • Mix the ingredients until combined.
  • Cover and let rest for 30-60 minutes at room temperature
  • Divide into three balls
  • Roll each ball between two sheets of parchment paper to a thickness of about 1/16th inch.
  • Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut the lines to create a rectangular cracker array
  • Poke each cracker 3-5 times with a fork
  • Bake in 350F oven for 15 minutes, or until starting to brown
