Crispy Chilli Corn

Ingredients

  • 2 c Corn kernels
  • 1 t Ginger-garlic paste
  • to dust Corn flour
  • 1 T Maida (All Purpose Flour)
  • 1 T (chopped finely) Onion
  • 1 (chopped finely) Green chilli
  • 1/2 t Red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste,
  • 1 t Chaat masala
  • Oil for frying,

Method

  1. Mix corn kernels, salt, ginger-garlic paste, maida and corn-flour such that the corn kernels are well coated with this mixture.

  2. Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry the corn over high-heat until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.

  3. In another pan, heat a little oil add onions and green chilli. Saute a little. Add fried corns. Toss it and add salt, red chilli powder and chaat masala. Mix gently and serve hot immediately.
