Caramel Sauce
Ingredients
- 300 g sugar
- 60 g water
- 113 g butter
- 333 ml heavy cream
- 1/2 t vanilla extract
- pinch salt
Method
- Add the milk, butter, and vanilla to a saucepan. Heat until just warmed and all the butter is melted.
- Add the water and sugar to a saucepan. Heat under medium heat without stirring until sugar reaches a caramel color. Remove from heat.
- While whisking, gradually stir the milk/butter/vanilla mixture until smooth
