Caramel Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients

  • 226 g butter
  • 227 g confectioner’s sugar
  • 328 g (1 cup) caramel sauce
  • 1 t vanilla

Method

  • Put the (room temperature) butter in a stand mixer with paddle attachment.
  • Mix on medium until butter is fluffy
  • Set mixer to slow and gradually add the confectioner’s sugar until incorporated
  • Add the caramel sauce and vanilla, mix until incorporated.
  • Mix on medium for an additional 5-10 minutes until fluffy
